We are delighted to confirm that Mark O’Neal from the Youth Commission will be our guest speaker.
Mark’s role is to help empower and support parents to navigate family life and help their children following a parent’s cancer diagnoses.
Mark will speak about his role and how he is helping local families to manage such an uncertain and worrying time and he will discuss the support he can offer.
Our meetings are open to anyone that is affected by cancer.
We understand that the Cancer journey is a tough one and one that certainly impacts mental health.
We encourage any members struggling with their mental health to reach out to a friend, a family member or a professional to talk through their thoughts and feelings.
