You do not have to book, you can just turn up. We ask that new members come along 30 mins before the meetings (morning or evening) so that they can spend a little time with one of the committee members to have a chat and see if they would like to sign up to our mailing list etc.
There is no obligation to come to every meeting or to let us know when you are coming. You are welcome to come to every meeting or even just one per year if that is helpful to you.
Yes. The group is open to anyone affected by cancer.
Of course. We understand it can be daunting to come along to a new group.
No problem, just let us know which meeting you would like to come along to and we will arrange for one of the board members to meet you.
Yes. If you struggle with transport, please get in touch and we can organise transportation for you.

This will be one of our ‘social evenings’ giving members the chance to catch up with each other 🥰
To enable us to spend some time with new members we would suggest that newcomers to the group, or members that would appreciate some private time with one of our team please arrive by 7:00 PM 🕖
Our meetings take place in the Reading Room, this is best accessed from the lower bar area, please follow directions and please order a drink from the bar on arrival. Tea and coffee will also be available too.
🤧 A polite request that if you feel unwell, please do not attend the meeting. This enables us to protect our vulnerable members. 🫶🏻

GCS Annual Puffin spotting trip! 🐧⛵️🌊

Our meetings are relaxed, informal and an opportunity to spend time with other members to exchange experiences and support each other.
Please note: If you are suffering with a cold or cough or you are feeling unwell, we kindly request that you do not attend the meeting.
We have some very vulnerable members and it’s important that everyone is as safe as possible.
